Quick overview:
This site/URL is the internet web side of Waldo's Place USA, an old-fashioned,
text-based, MS-DOSv3.xx aged, Fidonet BBS. We are a Support and BETA testing
site for RemoteAccess BBS software, the Frontdoor FTN mailer, and the Fastecho
FTN/BBS message tosser/handler. RemoteAccess is an "old style" text-based
MS-DOS oriented Bulletin Board System. Frontdoor is used by Fidonet Technology
Networks for transferring FTN style netmail and echomail messages and files.
Fastecho is a message handler designed for FTN style mail packets and bundles.
Its job is to toss newly arrived messages from other FTN systems into the
various supported BBS message storage formats and to scan messages entered on
the BBS out of the BBS message storage systems.
